Have used this app for several months now and have realized that the CFS seems to be correct but the feet of the rivers are off by as much as 3 feet over actual.

The premium is almost pointless cause it does not show the expected crest levels just the current water level
  • Fantastic and useful app

Oddly, i love to lurk around river data which is odd. But, after a few years of using usgs water alerts for my favorite fly fishing streams here in PA, i found this app which presents the data in a WAY more useful format. And, the alerts are great. we use this especially in the spring to monitor water flow ... duh. but it’s allowed us to be more efficient. Plus, my goal is to fish more widely and this will sure help. I write this the night before heading to a stream that is still pretty cold for trout ... but finally the water flow fell within a fishable range. i’ll head there for about 5 hours before i have to be home again. bottom line? i’d never be here without the info from river app. Thanks!

Just went through major flood in Pickensville, AL. RiverApp consistently displayed data points feet higher than actual readings from the Corps of Engineers.
  • Great App! Use weekly

Really like this RiverApp! Need a place for personal notes. A graphing page for seasonal flow variations would be helpful for trip planning.
  • Finally!
