  • Very Expensive and game gets worse as time goes on

Hard to compete unless you can spend a lot of money. After the first couple months it moves on to a phase called reign of chaos which is just stupid. A lot of people quit at that time because it becomes a game where you’re taking tiles instead of attacking other castles and at a certain level it’s extremely hard to grow unless you can devout your whole life to the game as you need to create a bunch of other farm accounts, and/or you can spend over a hundred or more dollars a week. Oh and the customer service/support is absolutely horrible

Unless you pay money you will get attacked by way better people and lose everything.

The game is sucked at chapter 1, build a house. I tried to click the “ hand”, it didn’t work.

Like a lot of ppl loved age of empires. This game started out great. Even joined an alliance. After getting raided constantly for a week it becomes ridiculous. There should be a limit on how often you can be attacked in a single day. Just going to delete the game not worth my time and I will not spend hundreds of dollars just to compete with the rest.
  • Actually a scam, and the company knows it

They use incredibly false advertising by promising a game that it literally has nothing to do with. How this company has not been sued to the ground is a miracle. The actual gameplay is a complete hand hold to show you how to get to spend as much money as possible. Unless you are an oil prince with an insane amount of money to spend, and I mean like 1k a day, then do not expect to be competitive.
  • Chat is always broken

I am addicted to this game, but I can’t see what’s happening in chat most of the time. I have to uninstall and reinstall the game over and over and over again to fix the chat for 10 minutes of updates. I have Viber for communicating with my alliance, but that only helps a little. Fix the chat issues and I will give 5 stars. Until then... it’s a 2 star app at best. Chat is necessary to communicate.

The ads bill this this as a revamp of the old Microsoft Age of Empires. It is not. It is just a medievally-looking repackaging of the current MMO RTS template that seems to be trending now. There is no picking troop formations. No picking of civilizations. I was very disappointed.
  • Blatant Deceptive Advertising

Games claims to be a mobile version of Age of Empires. It is not. Saw an ad today where the devs actually used the Age of Empires logo in their deceptive ad. C’mon Apple...this should not be allowed. Stealing Microsoft’s ip to be used for blatant deception is disgusting.
