  • Great game but fix pricing

It’s a good game but the PRICING IS TRASH I like all the characters that you add and the way to level up. Also try to work on fixing your bugs.

This game is so bad. RTA is the epitome of this. If you don’t know what RTA is you’re lucky.
  • Marvel Strike FARCE

That’s right, this game has turned into an absolute farce. No coincidence that the major downturn in all around quality began when scopely bought the game and took over. I’ll be updating this review with more details over time. 1. MSF customer service now openly admits that some of the players are cheating. With that, MSF stated that they would likely not compensate players who decided not to take advantage of the exploit. 2. The game has more bugs than ever before, they seem to appear at an alarmingly exponential rate. 3. They continue to bottle neck and hamstring players at an increasing pace. 4. They pump out broken and/or kraken/whale-like content.

  • Scopley is terrible

Played the game for almost a year and spent little money ($100) . I would consider myself a mid to late game player in MSF. The amount of bugs and screw ups by Scopley is just comical. They don’t care about the players and purposely bottleneck everything to make you pay. Events are garbage and every update is filled with bugs. Do not play this game , as a matter of fact do not a lay any games that is involved with Scopley. You’ve been warned

CM Cerebro and Zeeks, do the devs honestly read this at all. Or do they focus more on Reddit? Why can this game not get things right? Why are there so many continuous slip up’s. Bugs only get fixed when they benefit Scopely not the players. Maybe FixMSF needs to come back, the amount of errors that are allowed to happen and continue to happen are ridiculous and it makes it hard to look at anyone there or associated with Scopely with any legitimacy. This game and the people that “work” on it just continue to come off more as a joke day by day and month by month and year by year.
  • Not friendly for new players.

I started playing this game a year ago and I had some good fun and spent some over the year, but I would not recommend this game to my friends or anyone who might be jumping in now. The big reason why it’s unfriendly for new players is the rate of character progression in the game continuing to outpace mechanisms to earn resources. With the bar being so high now unless you are willing to spend tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands you will also lose by a substantial margin. I can have fun losing in a game, but not to this level where there is no competition. This might not be that big of a deal except for the next issue, matchmaking’s . Matchmaking. The game as a life pvp! Great in theory, but there is no bracket system or tier system that may keep the matches somewhat even or competitive. They give power levels for teams in this game and it is not uncommon for you to take your team with a power level of 100k against a team that is 500k or more. It’s not fun for the loser. It’s not fun for the winner . No one has fun in this situation. People have voiced this opinion to the makers of this game and have been ignored. That leads into the next point. Developers do not play test and ignore constructive criticism. They have no quality control department, which I am fine being the play tester in this style of game, but when bugs are identified they have a system for how they address them. If the bug benefits the player it gets fixed within days. If the bug hurts the player the bug can persist for years. That is no exaggeration. The character Black Bolt has been bugged since his release. There is a problem with Thor attacking and the game freezing completely. These have been identified for a very long time, but no action has been taken to address this. They offer items for sale in the game that many times the thing you buy does not match the description. I am a long time Marvel fan, but if this game was anything other than Marvel I would not have hung in this long or given it even as high as a rating as I did. If you’re in you can find your fun. If you’re new I would not get involved with the game if you desire to play at a competitive level. If you just want to get it and play through some missions for fun you could still enjoy the good graphics and fun story.
  • Scopely doesn’t care about it’s player base

  • Game designed to profit and be pay to win

I love Marvel and a lot of the gameplay, but MSF fails in a few pretty big ways. First they never test any news changes. Every single event or offer is broken. They cannot go a week without some snafu of a bad offer or broken event. They also structure the game in a very pay to win way. There are a lot of characters in each team that is unfarmable by playing the game: Beast, YoYo, etc. They’ve mentioned for a YEAR making them farmable but why would they when they can instead use offers to bait players. Likewise, a lot of these characters and teams are required to unlock a legendary, which further dangles carrots in front of players. Finally, they have fundamental errors in their game (red stars, RTA, gear progression, etc) that they have been ignoring and acted like they didn’t know about them on Reddit. However, if there’s some sort of player advantage in the game, then it’s fixed VERY quickly. I’d check out another game if you can. I’m hoping for MSF to get better but it’s pretty painful to play now for me and I’ve been here since the beginning. It’s only getting worse: buggy and money grabbing.
